As a motorcyclist, are you sick and tired of getting pushed into walls and on-coming traffic by other drivers half blind and too lazy to use their mirrors? Or are you someone who loves a rider and is sick and tired of having to visit them in the hospital or spoon-feed them apple sauce during their rehab months? Well, we at the Brophisticate may’ve found something just for you and right on time for Christmas!
M1C Helmets have patented a design where lights are built in the helmet. Such a concept seems to make so much sense, why didn’t someone think of it before? “It’s actually that no one thought of putting them in the helmet, making it a part of the shell” says Bill Langford the company’s creator and CEO. “This plays with the structural integrity of the shell and has to be tested in order to maintain DOT approval.” When asked what inspired the design, Langford answered, “Safety thru visibility, as I am a rider and I don’t like things attached (i.e. reflectors or add-on light’s, etc.) to my helmet.”
