Meet the man who knew Captain Kangaroo, Casey Kasem and Minnie Pearle on a first name basis. Beginning as a child voice actor, Jim Beasley went on to immerse himself in the other exciting aspects of radio, including deejaying, recording music and station management. But not before working on such epic franchises as The Lone Ranger and The Green Hornet on Detroit Radio’s WXYZ. Beasley sat down for the In the Corner Back by the Woodpile podcast and shared a glimpse into his colorful sixty-something years in the entertainment industry.
