Art Model Rock Star

An art model became a rock star for at least one night with a new show opening at the Palette and Chisel. The show features the work of over 30 artists and their tastefully done nudes.

In a gallery which primarily showcases a display of artistic skill, seeing the many renditions and interpretations of one person’s appearance actually grants the viewer far more insight into each artist and the subject than at any other time when visiting the Palette & Chisel.

Prices are much higher for this show than in previous posts, with our feature image fetching $3k and several of the larger fauvist-style pieces going for $1000 or best offer. However, there were still some to be found for the burgeoning connoisseur.

Though hers is quite comely, the body of work is less so, ranging from childlike to masterful. Though, having said that, we’ve showcased a dozen standouts below.
