Crushin’ tha Cosplay at C2E2

Thank you, Masked Man: The cosplayers were the Sars at this year’s C2E2.

What Corona virus?? The numbers are still coming in, but this has to be the most attended Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2) ever! There were throngs of people from the time the doors opened and a steady stream just came pouring in all day. The lobby was the most crowded we had ever seen, which lead to multiple dance parties and impromptu photo shoots. We ricocheted from one awesome cosplay to the next for hours, missing Mark Ruffalo and William Shatner in the process, but it was SO worth it!

Major thanks to comic book creator and cosplayer, AZ PowerGirl ( a.k.a. Cara Nicole), for her photos and congrats on her latest self-produced kickstarter comic, Firebitch. We were also super stoked to spot Lloyd Kaufman of Troma Films fame.

None other than Lloyd Kaufman himself was on the floor signing autographs at the Troma Entertainment booth!
