It’s tax time in the US, and that means everyone scrambles to get all theirs filed in time for a measly check from the government—if they’re lucky. Some hipsters were recently asked what they intend to do with their refund check and below is what they had to say.
In a recent poll, 81% of hipsters believe paying taxes has become “too mainstream” and more than half of hipsters think scarves should be counted as deductible expenses. With tax season in full swing, H&R Block has released a video series on the current Hipster Crisis, where Hipsters of America are struggling to file taxes in a non-ironic way. ESPN’s Kenny Mayne, is joining the movement and is on a mission to save them, one hipster at a time.
For every person who shares an element of the campaign with the hashtag #HipsterTax, H&R Block will make a donation to the Covenant House which serves homeless youth across the U.S. Come join the movement.
