Anyone with a camera and a smokin’ sister can make a music video where a hot chick clinches her fists in the middle of a field while the camera circles her adoringly. And if one watches any of the music video outlets these days, apparently anyone does. But it takes those with a little bit of a work ethic and an imagination (and sometimes a smokin’ sister still) to make a video that could survive on it’s own as a piece of art, separate from the music. So we here at the Brophisticate are setting out to salute those who’ve put a little more effort into their craft no matter when or what genre it was made, in hopes to inspire others to think outside the box and give good music the narrative it deserves.
First up is South Korea’s premiere Hip-Hop group Epik High with their video for “Map the Soul”. Enjoy!
