The letter inside the wall [with Tomas Silva]

In Buenos Aires, Argentina while making renovations to his apartment, Tomas Silva and his wife Augustina discovered a letter hidden within a wall. An award-winning cinematographer by trade on such films as Ausente (2011) and Permanencias (2013) Tomas decided to document his process in trying to ascertain who the letter was from and to, what was the significance of the missive and where all his investigation would end up leading him to. What has resulted is a documentary film entitled “Los Carteros” which is set to begin showing in some film festivals very soon. Tomas took time to talk with me about the project and the path that he put him on.
