Exclusive Interview: Thong Girl Creator, Glen Weiss [Podcast, Gallery & Video]

It’s been awhile since we’ve had a super-post on the Brophisticate, but our subject, Thong Girl creator Glen Weiss, certainly deserves it. He’s a man of all media, writing comic books which later become storyboards and screenplays for his movies, webisodes and even video games featuring his constant muse, Thong Girl. We asked Glen what the inspiration was behind the four feature films, the comics and the six-episode web series entitled Thong Girl vs. Xolta. The pilot episode of the latter is free and featured further down in this post for your viewing pleasure. As you’ll hear in the exclusive podcast featured below, he was more than happy to answer, as well as talk about his affiliation with Lloyd Kaufman of Troma Films and offer advice for future filmmakers out there. You can catch Glen, Thong Girl, Xolta and Vicious this month at Connooga, the comic book festival and comicon in Chattanooga, Tennessee, February 28-29 and March 1st. Until then, here’s hoping we soon see more from Lucky Louie Productions!
