Cuban rapper Denis Solis was arrested by communist state security forces in November of 2020 and sentenced to prison for 8 months for “insulting” police. His detention and abuse while in the socialist government custody has spawned protests and more arrests, chiefly in the San Isidro arts community of Havana.
