The Plight of Denis Solis and the San Isidro Movement in a song

Cuban rapper Denis Solis was arrested by communist state security forces in November of 2020 and sentenced to prison for 8 months for “insulting” police. His detention and abuse while in the socialist government custody has spawned protests and more arrests, chiefly in the San Isidro arts community of Havana. Below is both his story via the song “Mirror Mouth” and Solis’ track “Sociedad Condenada”, recorded before his arrest.
